Hanoi, Vietnam

Never in my life have I experienced something like the traffic in Hanoi.  Motorbikes were everywhere and crossing small streets was a feat and an experience in and of itself.

The city was so busy and bustling with life. Around every corner wafts of delicious Vietnamese food filled the air.

It felt like "Asia" Asia, unlike Korea which just feels...basic.

Touching down in Hanoi from Seoul was like stepping into another world.

A sweet surprise was stumbling across a Christmas market one night, in the midst of a countless altars and shrines.  (Ok maybe they were shrines to Santa but it was still a nice surprise.)

We stayed a few nights in a guest house with a helpful staff and took off on a night train to Sapa.
